Replacing Mansard Roof) - Home Design Forum

Does anyone have a rough estimate for what it would cost to remove an existing mansard roof which covers the entire second floor on all four sides and replace it with a regular gable roof? The house is square measuring about 40 feet by 38 feet. I just want more head room in the bedrooms upstairs and would prefer that the walls be at a 90 degree angle to the floor. I'm almost afraid to find out! Thank you in advance.
