info@beldenbrick.comThey have a brick making plant in Sugarcreek Ohio USA. They advertise that they can make specialty bricks.
They have some of the old beehive style kilns. I'm not sure that any of these are still in use, but your bricks were very likely made in similar kilns probably fired with coal.
Finding bricks was a problem for the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Robie House restoration. A site reporting the problem is linked below.
