Start with Eric Owen Moss's Canopy in Culver City CA.
Then start looking at Engineering works of Dewhurst Macfarland..I am working for a firm that currently did a glass bridge with their expertise..More also look at works of James Carpenter. If you need more help I can refer you to various works...no single architect has developed a language so far.
Glass so far has been linear planes and has been facated to incorporate geometry.
I just did a seminar for my firm on the evolvement of double curvature glass systems, but may be too advanced for you...I guess what are u looking to do with this informations.
